What is good about Henry Kissinger is that he sticks to what he knows. Like opening & closing China, for example.
He clearly opened it for the US during the Nixon years. Now he is closing it for himself in the Biden years.
Does Kissinger do this closing for nostalgic reasons or does he have a regret? If so let’s look at the remorse he might have that he doesn't have to share with us.
CHINA REMORSE A LA KISSINGER
What was the actual reason for opening China in the 1970s? There are books to read about it like the numerous books on the Kennedy assassinations.
One theory says it was to create a balance of power against the Soviet Union. Another it was the American ploy to improve the hegemony in place.
Whatever it was, that is not the purpose of this post. However, “closing China” is. I believe it is remorse rather than nostalgie.
Opening & Closing China
What’s in a Name Can’t Even Understand
What’s in a Name is a type that does not have the capacity to understand this. If he did we would refer to him like a legend as well, like Kissinger has become.
To put it into another perspective, What’s in a Name did not achieve much on the job or life like Kissinger has done. His writings nowadays, hence, are reflective.
The Clinton Administration
The Clinton Administration has been one of three pillars of the Globalist era in America. Three decades later it is clear to everyone how their reign maligned American supremacy.
What’s in a Name was part of the Clinton Administration. As a result, he gets his share of blame, highlighted with the Oval Office escapades of the 42nd president.
What is left to do in that case for the likes of What’s in a Name? Nothing but to become a stooge for other powers or wannabes by assuming their fight.
Like the case in point at this time, the Kennedy family feud. On that note, why Kissinger does not write about it but those failed do should explain their pathetic lives.
Opening & Closing China
Kissinger Nostalgie or Remorse
The state of mind of a legend like Kissinger cannot be a family feud. Kissinger has to be conscious of his legacy. After all, he opened China.
The Globalist “stooges” like Clinton for example, exploited what Kissinter opened. Two more stooges later, like Bush 43 and Obama, look where the US economy is.
Kissinger must have been thinking this all the way to China on the plane. Not how he opened China but how those followed him could not shoot straight.
Remorse Has No Place
Kissinger does not have to feel remorse for those that followed him not rising to the same level like he did. That is the fate of the sole superpower America as it stands.
Unfortunately, “three stooges” with not much vision or wisdom reigned supreme in America from 1992 to 2016. Their failure of China policy has nothing to do with Kissinger’s opening it.
Henry Kissinger and Shimon Peres
That brings me to a momentous time we spent with Henry Kissinger, just to put it into perspective for you. What may be going on through the minds of this legend on his way to China. You decide if it would be nostalgic or remorseful.
Citizen Shimon
We filmed with Henry Kissinger for our “Citizen Shimon” documentary. Robert DeNiro and Katleen Turner were also part of it.
What was interesting was that he was then in his mid 90s and he had all his faculties still in place. Towards the end of the sit-down interview he posed a question.
“Why am I filming for this documentary?”
Kissinger did not expect the answer. His question was his answer. He had just realized that he should not have sat down for this interview.
Not that we were nasty against him. Rather he understood the purpose of the interview was to promote a potential competitor of his.
He was in fact promoting someone that was hoping to follow his path to similar grandeur after his role as President of Israel ended.
What’s In a Name
Surely, if Henry Kissinger were to give some of his vision and wisdom to the likes of What’s in a Name, America maybe would not be in the shambles that it is at this time.
If Kissinger were to have any remorse on this “closing” trip to China, he should be remorseful for not giving a helping hand to the needy coming from behind.
Otherwise, he did what he had to when he opened China for all the reasons good and bad. History will determine his rightful place, not us.
