It is not even worth spelling out. What’s in a Name? An old timer, his time has long passed. Not that at his prime, he was Frances Perkins.
FYI, Perkins was the first woman who served in a presidential cabinet. She was a “Big Deal.” What’s in a name was also. However, he was for not doing the right things.
This chapter started with “Hakan Fidan” of Turkiye on a positive note. Now, we have to deal with someone not-worthy. What is worse, he is not even aware of it.
Maybe he does not care. Had he cared he would not have remained in the Clinton cabinet after the scandal. Lloyd M. Bentsen did not after two years.
Robert E. Rubin lasted four years. Lawrence Summers must have had surely seen enough in two years. Yet, what’s in a name stayed there as if nothing was happening.
So, should I continue from the morality perspective or shortcomings on the job? He has written eight books and then another ten. One feels sorry for readers nowadays.
Especially the young minds at that university!
Nowadays, he still has the audacity to write “What Has Gone Wrong with Our Economy” like if we were at the wheel for 8 years instead of him.
On that note, “I met the Kennedys and spent time with them. YOU, what’s in a name, don’t qualify to write about them.”
