On Wednesday , July 26th, Ghislaine Maxwell’s house was reportedly sold for over 5 million dollars. Until she ended up in prison she was sharing it with Scott Borgerson.
Ghislaine, reportedly, bought this house with her own money. BUT, Ghislaine will not see a penny of it. Scott took all of it.
Scott claims it is HIS, because Ghislaine transferred money to his name after she sold her NY home, fearing civil lawsuits from victims.
Scott played a nerve racking game, NOT releasing money to her appeal. until she was about to miss it…
Then - she agreed that he would just pay reportedly 1 million dollars for her appeal, AND gave up the rest of her assets... MILLIONS.
Ghislaine had no choice.
If she wins the appeal and has a new trial, she will have no money for lawyers.
On Thursday, July 27th, her appeal had reached "last step": Famous lawyer Arthur Aidala filed his last reply to the government reply to his appeal on behalf of Maxwell.
NOW - There is nothing left to do, but wait for the court's decision.
On July 1st - Scott and Ghislaine were finally divorced.
