In this endeavour, I will primarily rely on Daphne Barak, my partner.
She was the only person who interviewed her in 1992 when Ghislaine was an innocent young socialite.
She was also the only person who visited Ghislaine in 2022 at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, New York.
Moreover, she was also the only one who interviewed her in 2022 at the federal prison in Tallahassee where she is now serving.
Daphne Barak’s Exclusive Access
Ghislaine’s lawyers visited her at the MDC in Broklyn, New York, infrequently.
However, her siblings or friends were not as lucky.
Daphne Barak was there as a journalist representing leading US and UK media outlets.
Daphne’s connection to Ghislaine emanates from the television interview she conducted with Ghislaine’s mother in 1992.
It took place a year after Ghislaine’s father was found dead at sea.

American Injustice
Is it fair for me to call this chapter “Ghislaine Maxwell & American Injustice”?
Yes, for two reasons.
One, I believe autocracy long replaced democracy in liberal states like New York and California. Ghislaine was held in detention nearly 600 days without being charged, and then prosecuted, in New York.
That is why some great legal minds from Harward Law School, for example, believe that Ghislaine’s appeal to her conviction has strong of merits.
Two, Ghislaine’s, nearly two years long detention and then conviction after a speedy trial, raise questions about “justice” in America.
Considering, Ghislaine is the only one that is in prison for heinous crimes that involved many people, including some very prominent global personalities.
Never mind the fact that Ghislaine has recieved about four times longer sentence for a crime she is accused of, according to numerous experts.

Daily Mail is the world’s leading daily. It is widely reported, including by its competitors, that it has nearly 100 million daily readers. The Sun is the second biggest daily newspaper in London.
Daphne Barak writes exclusively both for the Daily Mail and The Sun. They, more often than not, carry her exclusives on their cover pages. Numerous times a year!

Daily Mail has about 100 million online readers and it is also a force to reckon with in the US market. It has about 60 reporters or so, in the last, count in North America.
The Sun is the second biggest behind Daily Mail in London. It has no presence in the US. Instead, it has sister media outlets like New York Post and the Wall Street Journal.

The Latest
Daphne did not conduct another interview with Ghislaine after she was convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
She only mentioned Ghislaine few times in her articles in the Daily Mail and The Sun, published in January and February 2023. She touched on her “appeal” process.
Indiscreet Reporting
Recently, a tabloid story in the London paper claimed that “Ghislaine Maxwell, 61, has filed more than 400 complaints over her conditions in prison since starting her 20-year sentence at FCI Tallahassee last July.”
As Daphne Barak published exclusives promptly revealed , Ghislaine is good at filing complaints over her conditions in prison.
Here two questions warrant answers before delving into the content of the “tabloid story from London.”
Does anyone know anyone that has ever been kept in detention for about 600 days in an iron-bar cage without seeing sunlight and being charged by a prosecutor?
Did anyone see Ghislaine Maxwell in prison other than her lawyers and Daphne Barak, beside the members of the Bureau of Prison?
If the answer is “No” to either question, then isn’t it worth waiting for the 17th exclusive by Daphne Barak?
