Where Does America Go
In August 2023 Nowhere But in November 2024
It is the Dog Days of Summer in America. The conundrum America finds itself at this time in Wash DC and overseas is precarious at best. Where does America go from here? No one knows the answer in August 2023.
By November 2024, Democrats and Republicans alike must fix the Congress. Bobby Kennedy Jr. presenting a younger and able alternative to two potential senior citizens in the Oval Office is not enough.
TIME TO RENEW CONGRESS
Changing guards in the Oval Office is not enough. The problem in America emanates from the US Senate. No one influences the US Foreign Policy Objectives like Senators.
The picture in the US Senate reflects the troubles the US is facing overseas. Russia is nowadays making new moves in Africa. Turkiye already made it elsewhere, like IDEF.
China is on top of its game as usual since the turn of the Millennia. The rest of the BRICS members will also meet in August. With new members, they will decide.
By then, the picture will get a lot worse for two reasons. The US Senate will not make the right decisions. The Biden Administration will be no help.
Where Does America Go Now?
America at this time has no place but to go back to the trenches. In other words, it has to play defense across the board from economic to military decisions. Knowing full well, they are extremely damaging moves.
For example, America, reportedly, recently deployed a dozen F-35s in the UAE against Iran. In Dedeagac Greece, it has also been deploying tons of military platforms for a while. As a result, adversaries constantly are improve their standings as well.
Meanwhile, China and Turkiye, among others speed up hoarding Gold. All the while dumping the US Treasuries continue unabated while the Biden envoys come back empty handed from overseas meetings. Symbolism is devastating.
How does the picture look for the potential adversaries other than as desperate American moves? They see America retreating and acting like a headless chicken. For example, the retreat from Afghanistan will never be erased from minds.
At this stage, who is to say that another retreat of similar magnitude will not take place and embarrass America again with this Administration and the Senate at helm? Will this be in the Middle East or Europe?
IDEF 23 Reflected The Misery
In the world’s fourth largest defense industry fair, was there a US product that stood out? For that matter, was there one? What about from Europe?
The fact that Turkiye, in its home field, on the centennial anniversary of the fledgling republic, came out swinging, with full force, was also indicative.
The West did not display much military muscle in terms of any new technologies or innovations to impress the world. Hence, it reflected weakness, instead.
Latest Russian Move Also Reflects
Simultaneously with Turks in Istanbul and Russians in St. Petersburg displaying strength is nothing but a one-two punch.
There is an African summit in Russia. All leaders are expected to attend in the next two days. The show of force by Russia means two things.
One, pulling the Wagner card against Putin did not work. Two, it actually galvanized Russia to make countermoves.
This could not be interpreted better than disturbing the bee’s nest. As a result, what will the US do in the Dog Days of Summer and then thereafter?
Big nothing, unfortunately.
Dog Days of Summer
The Greeks and Romans started to refer to late July and early August as the “dog days.” Somehow those days then coincided with all sorts of issues, like fires and other catastrophes.
In 2023, Western Civilization faces even worse catastrophes, but they are man-made. They originate from Wash DC. Worse, there will not be a relief there until the November 2024 elections.
On the other hand, by then, it may also be too late. The moves Turkiye, Russia, China, and the rest of the BRICS members that would make in the interim, will long define the New World Order.
They will decide in the absence of America and the rest of the Western powers. Dog Days of Summer in the America, followed by the Lame Duck Days in 2024, will make even defensive moves look helpless, idiotic, but also dangerous.
Where Does America Go Now?
One thing is for sure at this stage.
America must not go against Turkiye. I authored “GameChanger”, arguing if America does not collaborate with Turkiye, it will no longer remain as the sole superpower on Planet Earth.
IDEF 23 showed it clearly. For those who have no clue about such defense industry fairs or do not understand what they mean, they involve more than pocketbook issues. They reflect how societies are advancing.
IDEF 23 simply showed that the Western Civilization lately is not making much progress. Worse, the US Senate is not only not aware of this negative exposure, but it is also not acting smart enough to difuse the blame.
The US Senate
Simply put, the US Senate must be in tune with the rest of the world. Here are some hints if there is anyone at home there now until the next elections in November 2024.
BRICS members will accelerate the DeDolarization and assure demise of America
China will ensure that the Belt and Road Initiative complete the middle route
Russia will consolidate power with China, India, and Turkiye like solid partners
Turkiye will rely even less on the US deliveries and fill the voids alternatively
Cooperation and coordination between China, Russia, and Turkiye will increase
European powers from Germany to Italy will also look more East than West
Unfortunately, no one is at home in the US Senate and will not be in the entire Dog Days of Summer and beyond. It is not the issue that one or two members of the Senate are very old and are actually not there like President Biden isn’t.
Rather the problem is that the mindset that the US Senate represents is the very decay in the West. Appropriations by senators since the turn of the Millennia bear the current fruits. If they are rotten one must look at what these Senators did then.
IDEF 23 is a good example. It began 16 years ago. America and the US Senators, unfortunately, must have been the inspiration for it. Yet, nothing could be worse. While IDEF has taken the world over, there is no one at home in the US Senate.
