How do you lose a trillion dollars? Better yet: How does America lose more than that because US Senators do not know what they are doing? Finally, who pays for this? Why not Senators?

This post, “Türkiye takes over America IV”, is my fourth in a row. It focuses on KAAN which is the fifth-generation aircraft. Türkiye developed it indigenously and now it will put the American made F-35 out of its misery.

KAAN will make its maiden flight on 27 December 2023.

The death warrant for the F-35 was signed on 14 December 2020. The culprits are the US Senators who passed CAATSA 231, thinking they could still push Türkiye around.

President Trump urged the US Senators not to pass these sanctions against Türkiye. He knew well “it was Obama '' who messed it up big time in the first place. Trump is on the record making this remark in the G-20 Osaka Summit when he sat down with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Türkiye.

In other words, it was President Barack Obama that did not give Defensive Patriot Missile Batteries to Türkiye. As a result, Türkiye bought Russian S-400s instead which triggered “oblivious” US Senators into action. Have they ever thought for a second, if perhaps, Türkiye was playing with them, all along?

Here is the pathetic statement from one of the official sites in America.

“Today, the United States is imposing sanctions on the Republic of Turkey’s Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) pursuant to Section 231 of the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA) for knowingly engaging in a significant transaction with Rosoboronexport, Russia’s main arms export entity, by procuring the S-400 surface-to-air missile system.  The sanctions include a ban on all U.S. export licenses and authorizations to SSB and an asset freeze and visa restrictions on Dr. Ismail Demir, SSB’s president, and other SSB officers.

The United States made clear to Turkey at the highest levels and on numerous occasions that its purchase of the S-400 system would endanger the security of U.S. military technology and personnel and provide substantial funds to Russia’s defense sector, as well as Russian access to the Turkish armed forces and defense industry.  Turkey nevertheless decided to move ahead with the procurement and testing of the S-400, despite the availability of alternative, NATO-interoperable systems to meet its defense requirements.  This decision resulted in Turkey’s suspension and pending removal from the global F-35 Joint Strike Fighter partnership.

Today’s action sends a clear signal that the United States will fully implement CAATSA Section 231 and will not tolerate significant transactions with Russia’s defense and intelligence sectors.  I also urge Turkey to resolve the S-400 problem immediately in coordination with the United States.  Turkey is a valued Ally and an important regional security partner for the United States, and we seek to continue our decades-long history of productive defense-sector cooperation by removing the obstacle of Turkey’s S-400 possession as soon as possible.”

Turkish KAAN Takes Over American F-35

Let’s cut the chase and explain how the Turkish KAAN takes over the American F-35!

• KAAN will be cheaper. Türkiye has Chinese prices.

• KAAN will be more sophisticated. Türkiye produces German quality.

• KAAN will sell. It will face no export restrictions like America does for the F-35.

Here are the factors, enough to kill the American F-35 with shortcomings.

• The F-35 is too expensive. Maintenance cost makes it unaffordable as well.

• The F-35 is prone to problems. America has hundreds of them grounded.

• The F-35 requires a password to fly. Client feels like if it is a rent-an-aircraft.

US Senators: Here Comes KAAN!

Time to reckon with the ill-advised decision in December 2020 at the US Senate. On 27 December 2023 KAAN will make its maiden flight.

However, reportedly, KAAN has already made its maiden flight. The fanfare on 27 December will only be a formality for public consumption.

As to the US Senators, now there is nothing else to do but to face the repercussions. Trillion-dollar economy going bust will be officially in the books.

Let’s tally some of the damage to America!

• China, S. Korea, Russia, and Türkiye will split the trillion dollars America lost.

• China, Russia, and S. Korea will continue working w/ Türkiye, less w/ America.

• More countries will have sophisticated weaponry to pursue national interests.

• America will no longer have as much leverage over world affairs.

Who is to blame under these conditions?

Maiden Flight of KAAN Postponed

Few hours before KAAN’s mainden flight on 27 December 2023, Türkiye announced that it is postponed. There was no immediate statement from Temel Kotel, CEO of Turkish Aerospace Industries. In the meantime, click here what Defense Mirror says about KAAN.
