Turkish Drones: Changing the Art of Warfare
TB2 Making Mincemeat of Putin's Army but It's Not Alone Now
DAILY MAIL EDITOR AND ME
Imagine one of the top editors of the biggest daily in the world asking you to write an article for publication!
And then, he says: “Make it “informative and opinionated.”
After that, he adds: “Make it about Russia, Ukraine, and Türkiye.”
Finally, he insists that it should be in specific: “the Russian Army, a Ukrainian Folk Song, and a Turkish Drone.”
As if he was Jean de La Fontaine who collected fables from a wide variety of sources, both Western and Eastern just to publish in French verses.

It happened to me in August 2022.
Ever since, I became a monthly contributor to Daily Mail in London.
Apparently, what I wrote made big raitings.
After all, it is the world’s most read paper with about 100 million daily online visitors, give and take.
· Heroics of TB2
The Russia-Ukraine War has been the last place where the world witnessed the heroics of TB2.
The journey of this, not so face and not so big drone, began in Syria.
The tally of the Turkish incursions into northern Syria, namely Euphrates Shield in 2106, Olive Branch in 2018, Peace Spring in 2019, and Spring Shield in 2020 was the total annihiliation of hundreds of Russia supplied tanks and air defense missile batteries, like T-72s and S-300, no less, and respectively.
Next challenge was in Libya, were TB2 again allied with the Turkish forces, supporting the legitimate regime in power, recognized by the United Nations.
TB2, not only helped stop rebels trying to topple the government in Tripoli, supported by half a dozen powers like Egypt, Israel, and UAE, led by France and Russia, but it also helped take back half of the country in no time.
After that, TB2 appeared in Nagorno-Karabakh against Armenian forces illegally occupying an Azerbaijani enclave for 32 years with the backing of the Minsk Group, consisting of three nuclear powers: France-Russia-the US.
It was not a big deal when the task was completed and the entire enclave was liberated in one month.
TB2 today is in the arsenal of 30 countries and counting.
Before Ukraine, TB2 was also in Ethiopia when the Western powers decided to support a rebel group against the government to carve out a portion of the country in the north.
That registered another fiasco for the ill-conceived US foreign policy objectives, only because the current regime in Wash DC since the 2020 presidential election is behind all these fronts where TB2 confronts them like a Robin Hood, so to speak.
· TB2 Not Alone!
At this stage, it is important to note that TB2 is only a first generation “fighting” drone that belongs to privately owned Turkish enterprise called Baykar.
Currently, Baykar is unveiling its fourth and fifth generation drones.
Some no longer classify the latter generations by Baykar as drones anymore.
They are qualified as unmanned aircrafts because they are supersonic behemoths.
One final note, Baykar is not the only drone maker in Türkiye.
TUSAS is equally big, also working on its fourth and fifth generation supersonic drones and aircrafts.
The tales of other Turkish drones are equally impressive and they cover wide range of areas military, commercial, and humanitarian.
