The Best Movie of the Summer

Of the five movies we watched in theaters this summer, Sound of Freedom: Saving Children touched us. Unlike the other four movies that also made the biggest box offices, Sound of Freedom also made sense.

In fact, that is how it separated itself from the rest of the pack.

VITALLY IMPORTANT LESSON FOR HOLLYWOOD

In light of the ongoing strike in Hollywood, finally there was a movie this summer that may be useful for the negotiating sides as well. This movie did not have an AI issue. Bottom line of the movie was also sound.

Reportedly, it did not cost much to make it and it became a very profitable venture. In other words, Sound of Freedom proved a point. If Hollywood were to make similar movies, there would be plenty of spoils of riches to share for everyone.

The movie is based on a true story. A single parent in Honduras has two little kids, a ten year old girl and a 7 year old boy. A Columbian ring takes the kids away from his father and then ships one to America and the other to Columbia.

They become two of twenty two million or so kids enslaved for sex trafficking. From Hollywood movies perspective, there was a realistic script and a storyline that the audience was able to follow.

As a result, the movie was informative as well as exciting as actors had to perform variety of roles that were identifiable by the audience. In other words, the movie was relatable to the audience. It was not a figment of imagination.

The audience in the theater, which was packed, ranged from very young to elderly. In other words, it appealed to a large segment of the population. When the movie was over, there was an announcement. The audience did not leave until after that.

The Movie Addressed An Issue in Society

We went to see Sound of Freedom to be entertained. We did not go there for education. Yet, when it was over, we felt like we had an enjoyable afternoon but it was also thought provoking. Hence, it was worth our time, and money was well spent.

In that respect, those striking in Hollywood, now that they have plenty of time, must watch this movie. One, they will learn something about “Saving Children.” Two, they will also get an idea how to make their next movie with a purpose and a reason.

Movie With A Purpose And A Reason

The purpose of the filmmakers in this movie was to address child slavery. It is a rapidly growing worldwide problem. So much so that soon it is expected to become the number one problem. It is projected to leave narcotics behind.

The reason for this problem to become bigger and faster than narcotics is also addressed in this movie. Narcotics are consumed whereas enslaved kids are used for their services, repeatedly. Hence, they are more profitable commodities.

What Is Hollywood’s Purpose And Reason?

When compared with the “Sound of Freedom”, do moviemakers in Hollywood have their purpose and reason in right places. Do they focus on what matters to the audiences or do they come up with gimmicks that shortchange audiences?

No one needs to answer these two questions. If Hollywood had its purpose and reason in the right place, first of all, there would not be a strike today. Second, Hollywood would not have lost so much market share to the rising Eastern markets.

In Fact, It Could Also Be “Saving Hollywood”

If Hollywood had done the right thing in the past three decades or so, the world would surely have been a lot better place. Unfortunately, it was in the hands of Globalists. Hence, they must take some responsibility for these problems.

On another thought, come to think of it, who exactly are benefiting from the narcotics and child slavery like problems? The Sound of Freedom explicitly made the point that more than 60 percent of enslaved children are now in the service of American clientele.

Let’s put it into perspective. To steal a child requires capital investment. Then, there is transportation and housing costs. After that, serving them to clientele in well to do countries like America. Who exactly is benefiting from this trade?

Then it follows, doesn't it? Who exactly has been in charge in America since 1992? Aren’t the Globalists with all those necessary capitals, ships, housing units, resorts? Aren’t they benefiting from this sex-slave-children trade the best and the most?

Saving Hollywood

At this stage, those that are striking in Hollywood, do yourself a favor. Before bickering about the role of AI or profit sharing from streaming platforms, are you there for the right purpose or reason?

If you were, surely, there would be less kids in sex-slave-trade, as well as less narcotics or mental health problems. Surely, since you are the greatest actors and the filmmakers in the world, you would have known how to make it entertaining and educational.

As a result, you would have contributed to make the world a better place. Unfortunately, somehow with all the Globalists at helm that you are striking against, you too went along with them for too long. Consequently here we are.

Lots of innocent kids are becoming sex-slaves. Lots others are dying from Opioids or alcohol poisoning. Voluminous others are dealing with mental health problems. All the while you also recently got your share of problems, having lost your jobs.

Poetic Justice

On another thought, maybe it is poetic justice.

I just decided to think about those 22 million kids that are crying from now on.

Suddenly, I also decided not to worry about Hollywood strikes anymore.

Instead, I will go back and deal with elected officials.

I will inquire what exactly are they doing for “saving children” instead of “saving Hollywood”.
