The Fish Stinks from the Head
DOMESTICALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY
Three years ago, I posted an article with the headline: “Something Wrong With America.” It was six months into the Biden Administration. Now that thirty month is over, Americans don’t seem to care about the smell anymore.
Nevertheless, the overwhelming majority now feel obligated to look for ways to clean up this mess. However, the task is not so simple to discern. First it has to be divided into two because there are domestic and international aspects to consider.
Then, the layers have to be examined. The Joe Biden Administration only represents what is on top to see. Underneath, for example, there is the justice system in America or the media to name two. Internationally, there are embargos and wars among others.

But What Is It?
First, it is important to figure out what is wrong with America. Only then, how to clean it up would become possible. Unfortunately, the rot has already become part of the fabric of society, irrespective of smell.
Domestically
California and New York, two liberal states, reflect well what is wrong with the justice system in America.
Media, led by two “Fake News Liberals” and one “Radical Right”, becomes the second culprit when it comes to what is wrong with America.
Let’s leave the rest of socio-economic and politico-military problems that would explain what is wrong with America for another time.
Internationally
Embargoes imposed on subservient countries coming back to hunt is one way to explain what is wrong with America.
Reliance on wars or coup d’etats or creating anarchy and chaos in order to reign over other countries is not working anymore: That is the other way to explain it.
Finally, the arrival of the New World Order with the decay of the Western Civilization and the rapid rise of the Eastern powers must eventually be visited.
Something Wrong With America
Where, How, and Who?
So the question is where to start: Domestically or internationally. Donald Trump means to say it starts domestically by saying: “America First.” Joe Biden, on the other hand, by instigating the Russia-Ukraine war, firmly said that it has to start overseas.
To answer how depends on lots of variables. For Republicans and Democrats there are half a dozen priorities each and they are divided which comes first. Nevermind who is in charge to take it in what direction and with how many strings attached!
Joe Biden is at the helm at this time. His wavering in the international arena is reflective. He joins the G-7 Summit. When he fails there, then he waits for the ensuing NATO Summit. After two failures, he looks helpless and hopeless, bewildered.
It follows then that there is nothing but to wait for November 2024. The hope would be that the 47th president of the United States will be the right one for this task. It does not matter if he would be a Democrat or a Republican at this stage.
So long as what is wrong with America will be understood and there will be a will and capacity to resolve it promptly. Until then, I can cite a few examples for you to ponder in between lines on your own.
