Revisiting Israel's Iran Dilemma
Britain and America supported "aggressive" Israeli policies since 7 October. What will their strategy be when Israel raises the ante and Iran does the unthinkable, escalating the conflict into war?
Israel has always been a pariah state. Yet, it has also been successful in manipulating Britain and America to fulfill ideals. Revisiting Israel’s Iran Dilemma, however, would show why meddling into Iran proper is a step too far.
In other words, for Israel to escalate the war in Gaza into Iran will not be acceptable to Britain or America. They will vehemently confront the idea. Ironically, they will instead go a step further and seek to bolster Iran as a bulwark.
UNHOLY ALLIANCE
Here is what, all not-so-reliable, Google says:
“During the Cold War, it was the perception in the U.S. that Israel’s strategic value served as justification for the special relationship. While Israel has its own interests regarding the Arab Israeli conflict, a supportive Congress and American domestic lobbyists have presented them as consistent with those of the U.S.
The Bible, Christian Zionism, popular culture, memorialization of the Holocaust after 1967 and the shared approach in the U.S. and Israel toward the land and the indigenous populations have all led to the transformation of Jews and Israelis from ‘outsiders’ to ‘insiders’ in the U.S.
This cultural and political affinity is behind the U.S.’s current unconditional support for Israel, as well as the fact that the U.S. is seen in the region and beyond as deeply implicated in Israel’s actions.
But since President Harry Truman recognized Israel in 1948, presidential policies show that the U.S.-Israel relationship has not always been ‘rock solid.’”
Revisiting Israel’s Iran Dilemma
Britain is a major power. America has been decaying rapidly however it is still the sole superpower in the world. Consequently, they have varying priorities around the world in order to endure their respective leaderships.
For them, the world does not revolve around the Middle East, not the least in the Levant. They have China, Russia, and Türkiye to worry about. Iran is a truly important bulwark against this “Bermuda Triangle”.
Britain and America
On the surface, Britain and America may be the best of allies. However, they have their own deep-rooted problems. They date back to the 1776 Declaration of Independence.
I co-authored with Daphne Barak “Struggling for One America”, published in the USA in 2021. We pointed at the “rigid” divide in America dating back to the Civil War which surely touches Britain.
If nowhere else they can come to a common denominator, Iran is the lynchpin for their pact. Leave Iran’s role for the West in the struggle against Russia or China aside for a second! Iran is the only bulwark they have against the rising Turks.
Israel
Israel, on the other hand, is a tiny country with a very small population. It lives in a vast Muslim Sea. Its survival instinct requires belligerence against all adversaries. Iran comes on top of the list even when it is untouchable for Britain and America.
As a result, Israel easily became the “Usual Suspect” when bombs exploded in Syria, Lebanon, Iran, and Iraq since last week in 2023. All were against Iranian proxies and/or Iranian heroes, just to entice the regime in Iran into direct action.
Surely, Britain and America will not voice any opinion about the four-country-bombings. However, if these bombings were to increase and lead to a direct military reaction by the regime in Iran, then they will have no choice to interfere.
Revisiting Israel’s Iran Dilemma
In the New World Order, the buck stops at Iran as far as Britain and America are concerned. Furthermore, they know how Iran is already in a fragile state. That is why Israel’s enticements against Iran will not be tolerated by them by any account.
Iran
Iran is ruled by Persians. They are a minority. Azeri Turks are the majority. Nowadays they may be thinking it is time to part ways with Persians. Considering 400 million Turks are in the process of coming together under the “United States of Turan”.
Israel
Israel, on the other hand, especially during the Nagorno-Karabakh war, supported Azeris. Iran was on the side of the Armenians. All indications were clear that Israel was seeing Iran as the menace and was using the war to inflict damage on Iran.
Revisiting Israel’s Iran Dilemma
Is Israel Committing a Suicide with Iran?
Aside from how the absence of Iran puts a dagger to the leaderships of Britain and America in the world, isn’t Israel on a limbo with its Iran policy?
Azerbaijan joining brethren living in Iran will clear the way for Turks. Currently, Georgia, Armenia, and Iran prevent Turks becoming an integral unit.
These three countries sit between Türkiye and Azerbaijan on the West and Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan on the East.
When Azeri Turks were to split from Persian Iranians, the problem for Turks would disappear. So much so, even Afghanistan and Pakistan will join the grand Turkic pact.
United States of Turan
Britain and America are well aware that the United States of Turan is all but announced. In other words, it is a functioning entity but not formally pronounced. Otherwise, the integration from languages to counselors to passports are at work.
Soon, the pact will register at the United Nations and will seek recognition across the world. With 400 million strong Turks, and with support from the rest of two billion Muslims, the United States of Turan will promptly materialize.
The New World Order
In other words, the United States of Turan will be one of the new faces of the New World Order. It is inevitable. Britain and America know it much like most every other power in the world.
In the New World Order, the United States of Turan will in a sense first become a replica of the European Union. At a further stage, it will be just like another United States of America.
Revisiting Israel’s Iran Dilemma
At this stage, let’s pose the question one more time. What is Israel’s most pertinent problem at this time? Should it be to get rid of the big menace Iran?
