Retreating America: Cyprus to Kirkuk

Retreating America: Cyprus to Kirkuk

Türkiye recently warned major powers about Iraq. Much like, when President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a similar announcement, regarding Cyprus on 21 July 2021.

So, the question is: Will Türkiye keep its word in Iraq like it did in Cyprus? Also, would that mean for the retreating America: Cyprus to Kirkuk is only the beginning of a new chapter?

Some in the know view these baby steps by Türkiye, a pretext towards the eventual declaration of the Mîsâk-ı Millî.

On that note, why would not Türkiye fill the vacuum behind the retreating America.

MİSAK-I MİLLİ

Apparently, Joe Biden never understood where the “New Türkiye” was heading since 2008. One would hope, at least in the last three years, when he was in charge he would get it.

Otherwise, God, please help America!

Aside from the fact that Türkiye has a legitimate claim on the future of Kirkuk, there is also an account to settle there. On 14 July 1959, there was a massacre of Turkmen, the brethren of Turks and legitimate residents of the Kirkuk region. At the time, Türkiye was helpless because there was US hegemony in the region. It did not have the means to go prevent this atrocity. Ever since in 1992 when Globalist “stooges” arrived at the Oval Office, that hegemony faded away into the annals of history as a small note. As a result, Türkiye now has a lot more say in the region.

Donald J. Trump was not like Joe Biden. He quickly adjusted the US foreign policy objectives. He gave America a chance to negotiate from the point of strength.

For those who voted for Biden and lived in oblivion to this date, here is the tally. The Biden Administration miserably failed in the international arena from 2021 to 2023.

In 2021, Türkiye came up with an ultimatum or two against the US. In 2022, the desperate Biden Administration started the war in Ukraine to save face.

To put it into another perspective, the war in Israel in 2023 did not come by accident: Neither the Turkish move in Cyprus on 21 July 2021.

However, They Are Only the First Two!

The US began losing countries like Sudan and Serbia during Clinton time. Bush (43) lost Iraq for example. Obama lost Türkiye, to a degree, just to name a few.

Under Biden, retreating America faced the Turkish fait-accompli in Cyprus on 21 July 2021. Now, it is facing the same in the northern third of Iraq.

In other words, the journey from Cyprus to Kirkuk represents the latest chapter in the US saga. In Iraq, it is yet another humiliation for the retreating America.

Cyprus

Here is how Globalist media tried to save the day after the Turkish declaration, on 23 July 2021 in Cyprus.

“The United Nations Security Council on Friday condemned a plan by Turkish and Turkish Cypriot leaders to partially reopen the abandoned resort of Varosha (Maraş in Turkish Famagusta in Greek) and called for an immediate reversal of the decision.

Turkish Cypriots, backed by Ankara, said on Tuesday that part of Varosha - now a military zone and an area touted in the past to be returned to rival Greek Cypriots - would come under civilian control, and be open for potential resettlement.”

The Globalist PR ploy was just that. A year later, Maraş was long open for tourism. No one was questioning the Turkish move or the sovereignty anymore.

Iraq

Three years later to be exact, Türkiye recently made a declaration. This time it is about the northern third of Iraq. In layman's terms, it means that Türkiye will no longer accept business as usual in the region.

That also means that the US and the rest of the foreign powers have to pull their “advisers” out of the region. Moreover, their “proxies”, meaning “rogue militia”, aka “terrorists” like Türkiye calls them, will not be tolerated.

These so-called “proxies” have been there since 1980. The West and other powers of the 20th century have been using them as the extension of their foreign policy objectives. Now, Türkiye is in the driver seat, and decides at will.
