Instagram and Haniyeh: Poetic Justice

Could there be justice in social media? It may be too early to hope for in the US. Yet, the dynamics in the international community require it. Globalists have to comply with their wishes or else.

Ten days ago, Türkiye restricted Instagram use in the country. Yesterday, it reinstituted it as before. In the interim, Instagram reached an agreement with the Turkish regime. Basically, it boiled down to Instagram and Haniyeh: Poetic Justice made it right.

ISMAIL HANIYEH

Ismail Haniyeh was the leader of Hamas. For Israel and its supporters in the West, he was the “Chief Terrorist.” For most others in the rest of the world, he was the legitimately elected face of resistance, including for the regime in Türkiye.

Ismail Haniyeh, recently, was killed while visiting Iran. Naturally, some celebrated while some mourned his passing. As far as the Erdogan regime is concerned, mourning for him also became an occasion to make a point.

Two Underdogs: Winners

Türkiye and Instagram came to an agreement. From now on, Turkish laws will be paid attention. Basically, that means the verdicts by the Turkish justice system will be honored.

In other words, they will not be viewed as political decisions. Much like how they are viewed in the West. Türkiye is an integral part of the economic, military, and social justice system of the West.

Instagram

Instagram much like any other social media platforms of the West pursues Globalist tendencies. As a result, Conservatives in the US tend to be apprehensive. The rest of the world is also complaining about the similar problems.

In Türkiye, the biases of the social media platforms face severe scrutiny. At times, they’re suspended until they get it right. Instagram was the last one that was schooled by Türkiye. Now, no more shenanigans are expected or else.

Haniyeh

Now that an agreement is in place between Türkiye and Instagram, the first post was in order. It came from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye. Hakan Fidan posted his condolences, remembering the murder of Ismail Haniyeh.

The ban on Instagram was exactly that by Türkiye. When Haniyeh was killed, the Turkish audience posted their emotions.

Instagram decided not to publish posts about Haniyeh’s passing. Türkiye objected to Instagram's subjective decision and banned the platform.
