Hollywood has been reflective of American culture and values all throughout since 1911. Originally, it was traditional and family oriented. As a result, it appealed to the absolute majority. In the second half of the century, it first started to deviate from the original self. Then, it assumed progressive tendencies. Lately, it simply became untenable for the majority. In other words, Hollywood going bust longtime was in plain sight.
So the question of why there are no good Hollywood movies to watch anymore is not relevant. Yet, in light of a sixty year strike now underway in Hollywood, actually it is the most relevant question. Having come full circle, let’s examine how Hollywood then made a movie that appealed to the majority and why it is not able to make the same now.
