They were the next two of the five movies. So we thought they were worth going to the theater this summer. We had to question our decision after the third one. We struggled to understand what the intention was. From Oppenheimer to Barbie, these two showed us the fringes in American society.
Not with their scripts, rather about the thought they aimed to provoke. A good movie must raise questions at the end. Which one of these two raised more questions, do you think? Could it be Barbie? In fact, Barbie should have frightened human beings only because it showed there are for sure evil minds out there.
MIRACLE: GREAT HOLLYWOOD MOVIES
Great Hollywood movies of this summer were political in nature, as usual. They were solely made for the brain-washed audiences. As a result, they appeal to one half of the American society. The other half still has some brain cells functioning to avoid theaters this summer. That should also summarize the problem of Hollywood today.
From Oppenheimer to Barbie
Two things remain in mind after watching these two movies. One, how dumb people are in America. Two, how dumb movie makers think people are in America.
In either case, both movies were “thought provoking”. Hence, they must be “great Hollywood movies”. However, they also seemed to be for the wrong reasons.
Oppenheimer was trying to say how little minds can be so dangerous, self-serving, and cruel. Barbie was also emphasizing similar premises, but there was more to it.
Barbie was done with a sinister mind. The purpose was not only marketing. It was also to poison minds and keep society occupied with senseless thoughts.
Great Hollywood Movies
Unfortunately, great Hollywood movies of this summer do not get any better than these. The messages were clear in all three of them so far.
In “Mission Impossible”, we never understood what the topic was. We remember Tom Cruise was jumping on and off a train. It must have been the point.
In the Oppenheimer, did we understand that a human being kills another human being for no particular reason in the Western society?
In the Barbie, was the point not to pose a question and live in oblivion like most are now living, except that, there is not that much pink but a lot of shades of gray?
From Oppenheimer to Barbie
Oppenheimer and Barbie are worth watching only to understand how many ways can Hollywood be superfluous.
Otherwise, going to the movies this summer will become a frustration. It is simply not for a thinking person.
As to the striking Hollywood, two thoughts come to mind. One, AI is necessary to make these nonsensical visuals.
Otherwise, somebody has to go out there with a camera to create something original and meaningful.
Two, why complain about the industry not sharing the profits better? Surely, there must not be much to share.
WE are struggling to find something to like for the sake of actors and others we came to know in person and otherwise.
