Writing to Daily Mail is not a common phenomena. Working for Daily Mail and writing on a regular basis is also a challenge. For an outsider to write and on a regular basis, like a clock work is a far-fetched idea. However Erbil Writes Political Monthlies in the Daily Mail of London is now also a fact.
The offer for me to write came as a suggestion from two people close to me. One is inside the Daily Mail. The other is outside but equally influential. I was doubtful that I will write and Daily Mail is going to publish it. After all my expertise and area of interest were not what the readers of the British daily were used to. Editor disagreed with me all along. At the end, he was right. It worked and continues.
REVISITING MY FIRST TWELVE MONTHS
I began writing for Daily Mail on 22 August 2022. I just noticed it coincides two years to my mother Sevim Gunasti’s passing. She became a victim of the State of California on 26 August 2020. Hence, Erbil Writes Political Monthlies will stay with me with each article in vigor against Globalism.
My mom was instrumental in Daphne Barak and I doing the “Trump vs Hollywood: The Two White Houses” documentary. It is available on Vimeo. We also acknowledged her with a page spread in our eight book: “Struggling For One America”, published a year later. California Congressman Republican Darrell Issa called to make sure that we thanked her promptly.
What does my mother’s passing have to do with writing in the Daily Mail?
Well, I believe in God, Country, and Family.
When the first twelve months are revisited, my articles will reflect them.
