Does America Support Terrorism
Would not that be the Mother of All Questions, if Saddam Hussein was alive today? Fantasy aside, could this be a true statement? In this rigidly divided America, it may very well be.
Before anything else, one must define “terrorism”. The old and “most trusted” Merriam says that it is “the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion.” Based on this definition, how does America support terrorism, if it is the case?
“America does not support terrorism.” At least what most patriotic Americans would say. However, there are other questions that would shed light. For example, how apolitical American citizens are? Considering, only 66% voted in the 2020 election.
That means two things. One, 34 % do not care about this question. Two, it should be easier to manhandle 66 % compared to the entire 350 million Americans. Especially when ignorance is bliss and devil has a full agenda in place in America since 1992.
DEFINITION OF TERRORISM BY COUNTRIES
I visited 9 countries. They are Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, UK, and the US. I found 36 definitions for “terrorism”. Each was talking about something else. They did not have much in common.
Mind you, these are the OECD countries that are part of the “Western Alliance”. If these nine countries cannot agree on one simple definition of what “terrorism” is, the world must be in trouble. On that note, the world is.
Does America Support Terrorism
What Terrorism?
That is right, we have to rephrase the question.
What terrorism?
Next question.
Domestic terrorism or international terrorism?
That is becoming too complicated.
Is there domestic terrorism in America?
At this stage, half of America may be pointing at the other half when the rigid divide comes to mind.
Does America Support Terrorism
What About International Terrorism?
So let’s focus on international terrorism, maybe the answer would be easier to find. However, the first thing is first.
Is there international terrorism since January 2021?
In Ukraine, there is a war. So, there is no terrorism whatsoever.
In Israel, there is also a war. No terrorism to talk about there either.
If only we did not have these two wars, the world would be heavenly right?
OECD Countries
So, how does this absurd question “does America support terrorism” come to mind?
It would be a good idea to go back and look at how the 36 definitions of terrorism vary in the nine OECD countries. On that note, it is also important to point at what Hakan Fidan recently said.
The Foreign Minister of Turkiye accused most of the OECD countries for “supporting terrorism”. By the way, Turkiye is a member of the OECD and a part of the Western Alliance, and in good standing.
Hakan Fidan Does Not Pose The Question
Does America Support Terrorism
Did Hakan Fidan, Foreign Minister of Turkiye, in plain English pose this question to America?
He said, in specific, or “mot a mot”: “If you had supported Turkiye instead of supporting terrorism…”
Let me complete his sentence, not knowing exactly what the rest of it was: “You would not have found yourself in the middle of this Israeli-Palestinian mess.”
So Then
How Does America Support Terrorism?
Let me give a couple scenarios so you can, perhaps, decide.
America supports “militia” in northern Syria and Iraq. They are there only to attack a sovereign country by brute force while they illegally occupy a large enclave within the borders of yet another sovereign country.
Does not that give legitimate right for the besieged sovereign to go after this atrocious militia? If so, why would America side with this militia and against the victimized sovereign in question?
America, at this time, also supports a sovereign country against an “atrocious militia” that recently and violently striked against innocent civilians. This militia came from an enclave that is not even qualified as part of another sovereign country.
In this case, America believes this victimized sovereign must have all the rights to defend itself. Even the “scorched earth” policy can be justified against this militia that attacked the sovereign country by brute force.
